WOW is the best word to describe our very first experience dining at The Library Restaurant!! It truly is a dining experience, as some of the food is prepared table-side. Senatra made our experience so special. We felt like we were at a good friend’s house & they were making us dinner. She loves what she does and it shows! The food was delicious, too. Some of the food items we would recommend are the Caesar salad, the Steak Diane, the Duck L’Orange, the Chicken with artichokes & mushrooms and the Bananas Foster. This was by far one of our most favorite dining experiences in Myrtle Beach ever and we’ve been vacationing here for almost 15 years. We will definitely return next year.

We hear about the Library often. My husband and I had a date night and decided to try it out. Very disappointed, this appetizer was $22, shrimp tails in the sauce? And the steak was small and most pieces burnt… I feel like it was a joke. We will never go back.

Absolutely LOVED this place!!! From the staff, the atmosphere, the presentation of the food and drinks, AND THE FOOD.... FANTASTIC. Hats off to the chef and our server Brian. He just had a way of making everything sound over the moon. I forgot to take a picture of our dessert coffee. Kona coffee with kahlua, frangelico, and amaretto. The tall glass was rimmed with something fruity and dipped in sugar. Then topped with a mound of whip cream and a cookie. OMG so good. This will be a new place to visit for sure.

The libraries is an amazing restaurant one of the best atmospheres in the Myrtle Beach area. It really feels like you're eating in a private library! The food is amazing and the menu is diverse definitely worth a visit.

Ryan is really a good server. The ambiance is also quite good. But the food is only average. Onion soup is a bit salty. She crab soup is a bit sweet.

We found a romantic dinner spot. Its a very unique culinary experience. This is a french steakhouse, ooh lala lol. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves tonight. Our server Senatra Johnson was very bubbly and enthusiastic. Pleasant with everyone. Had a good knowledge of the menu .

This restaurant fell short on almost everything other reviews raved about. It is attempting to take you to a French inspired bistro in a romantic setting but almost feels like an overused theme park needing big renovations. The menu is a scroll which is constantly rolling up on you and has grease and oil marks all over it…why? The tables are close which is fine, but the ambiance doesn’t provide a private dining experience with the music choice contradictory to the overall atmosphere. Music genre/volume provided more distraction than enjoyment. Tables are spread apart but orientation provides no privacy in the attempt to make it an upscale experience. Waiters are friendly and will tell you the specials over a 5 minute (no exaggeration) speech. The cocktails were awful, I had the library martini. Had about half before I gave up. For the food, it is expensive to the point of just being expensive. Nothing our table ordered was remotely worth the cost. Plates need either a quality adjustment or a price adjustment. Portion size was appropriate (in a good way), this was the only positive. Enjoy trying for yourself, I won’t say don’t go, just prepare to be underwhelmed if you’re expectations are upscale, fine dining experience. Or if you’re expecting a French bistro fare in a romantic setting. Or if you’re expecting a $79.95 steak to taste as such. Or expecting a classic martini to taste balanced and smooth.

Had a wonderful night with my sweetheart. Food and atmosphere was excellent. The enthusiasm of our server, Senatra, was outstanding. We look forward to many more wonderful visits to the special restaurant, the most romantic restaurant in all of Myrtle Beach. Would love to see Beef Wellington on the menu. The piano bar, 88 Keys, next door was the perfect cresendo to a perfect romantic evening.
